Optical Arts designed, directed and produced a series of films for Coca Cola for their world-wide campaign 'Bring Magic to the Table', in collaboration with Anomaly. The campaign celebrated the use of the classic glass bottle. We explored how the cola liquid behaves at a macro level and how it interacts with the glass and light, causing diffraction. The result is a magical journey from the glass bottle, through the liquid and to the table.
We experimented with lighting the cola liquid in the studio as a reference for our CGI journey through the liquid. We documented how the bubbles interact with the lights and how the liquid appears on camera when in motion.
